I like cats...I love cats!

Cats enjoy adventure...adventure is my passion and joining Neighborhood Radio here in Half Moon Bay is another exciting adventure for me. To be a part of a new venue helping neighbors, visitors and those tuned to AM 1710 is going to be a rewarding experience for me and, I wager, for all those listening as well!

Living in our "cabin by the sea" in Canada Cove with wife Linda and two rascal cats for almost a decade, has shown me the diversity of the Coast -- a colorful mélange of country / city folk with goals and dreams not unlike yours and mine with the common attitude of let's enjoy ourselves and help others do the same as we strive day to day in this beautiful environment...a well known secret to us and those in nearby communities with visitors being welcomed cheerfully!

I retired from the retail photo industry in August 2009 and, although I have a long "to do" list, I get the feeling I will thoroughly enjoy my time now because of just that, it will be my time, on my schedule. I look forward to creating a time slot for 1710AM.

Adventures have included shipping from Sydney to San Francisco; sales career throughout British Columbia and the western US states. Buying a VW camper in San Mateo and driving it to Rome to live & teach for a year, then motoring to Moscow during the cold war era and back to North Africa to spend a winter in the Sahara. Docent head keeper at Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Photography instructor at CSM and Peninsula cities Parks & Rec. Depts. Creator of a 'ripping good yarn' site "flightoftheresolution.org" for a long forgotten airliner crash on Kings Mountain and other "helping ventures" has led me to now assist in the professional presentation of what management at AM 1710 expects will be a useful, informative and entertaining.
